Terms of Service

These terms apply whenever you use FPL Companion — a Paragon Design product — at fplcompanion.app("FPL Companion", "we", "us"). By using FPL Companion, or by purchasing FPL Companion Premium, you agree to these terms. Full legal and business information is set out in the Business information section near the bottom of this page.

What FPL Companion is

FPL Companion is an independent companion tool for Fantasy Premier League managers - Player Explorer, My Team, Planner, GW Briefing, and the Mini-League Cheat Sheet. FPL Companion is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League. "Fantasy Premier League", "FPL", the Premier League name, and related logos are trademarks of their respective owners, used here only to describe the game FPL Companion is built around.

Free and Premium access

Player Explorer, My Team and Planner are free to use. The GW Briefing is free to unlock with your email. FPL Companion Premium (the Season Pass) unlocks additional features on top of the free product, including deeper GW Briefing intelligence and the personalised Mini-League Cheat Sheet.

FPL Companion Premium - 2026/27 Season Pass

• •Price: £20.00 GBP, charged once. This is a one-time payment, not a recurring subscription - we will never charge you again without a new, separate purchase.
• •Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• •Before you can start Checkout, you must tick a checkbox confirming you agree to these Terms and requesting immediate access - see "Cancellation and refunds" below for what that means.
• •Access is granted automatically, usually within seconds of a successful payment, and covers the 2026/27 Premier League season. To allow for any rearranged fixtures at the end of the season, access runs until 30 June 2027.
• •One purchase unlocks Premium across FPL Companion for the account you purchased it with - there is no separate charge per feature.

Cancellation and refunds

FPL Companion Premium is digital content, supplied immediately once your payment is successful. When you tick the purchase-consent checkbox at checkout, you are expressly requesting that we begin supplying this digital content to you immediately, rather than waiting out the standard cooling-off period. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, beginning immediate digital supply on that basis means your usual 14-day change-of-mind right to cancel ends once supply has started. Because of this, we do not offer discretionary change-of-mind refunds once your Premium access has been granted.

This does not affect your other statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if FPL Companion Premium is faulty, not as described, or not supplied as agreed - for example, a successful payment where access was never actually granted - you remain entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund as appropriate. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact us using the details below and we will put it right.

Third-party data and availability

FPL Companion depends on the official Fantasy Premier League public API and other public football data sources that we do not control and do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or continuity of. If Fantasy Premier League changes, restricts, or interrupts its API, some FPL Companion features may be temporarily degraded or unavailable through no fault of ours. We aim to keep the service running reliably but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Projections and insights are estimates, not guarantees

xPts scores, predicted lineups, minutes-risk and penalty-taker tags, Mini- League insights, and similar features are informational estimates generated from available data and our own modelling. They are provided to help inform your own Fantasy Premier League decisions - they are not guarantees of performance or outcome, are not professional advice, and are not gambling or betting advice. You remain responsible for your own FPL team decisions.

Your account and access

FPL Companion currently identifies you by the email address you unlock with and, where linked, your FPL Team ID - there is no traditional password login. Keep access to the email address and browser/device you used to unlock or purchase FPL Companion, since that is currently how your access is recognised. Contact us if you need help re-establishing access on a new device.

Acceptable use

Please use FPL Companion fairly: do not attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service or its data; do not misuse the FPL Team ID lookup to look up or harass another manager; and do not attempt to circumvent Premium access without payment.

Changes to the service

We may update, add to, or remove features over time, including free features, as the product evolves. If you have an active Season Pass, we will continue to honour Premium access for the season you purchased even if individual features change.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so - for example, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, our liability to you arising from your use of FPL Companion is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the issue arose. We are not liable for the accuracy, availability, or continuity of third-party data (including Fantasy Premier League's own API) that is outside our control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in the country where you live.
